Overheard: On eating chicken soup for dinner

Mickey: "Mom, there's dead chicken in my soup..."

Me: (uuuuuuhhhhhh)
...and so I said nothing. NO THING. For the first time I was at a complete loss for words to my three-year-old. Any suggestions? Anyone??
